RESIFA™ SOLESPHERE™ H-121 silicas are porous, 12 μm spherical particles with high surface areas. When added to skin care formulations, these silicas impart a mattifying or blurring effect that minimizes the look of pores. These silicas can improve a products’ visual aesthetics, and are excellent alternatives to talcs, microplastics and silicones.
SOLESPHERE silicas achieve the soft focus effect by controlling the light transmission and diffusion in and out of the skin, which optically blurs skin wrinkles, hides inperfections and reduces the appearance of fine lines.
It is especially suited for oil/water emulsions because it improves the feel of the product on the skin by reducing greasiness, sliminess and stickiness.
