The natural emollient Natura-Tec Plantsoft™ LUX L is absorbed by the skin, restoring its correct moisture balance and softness without impairing natural skin functions. Because of the polar nature of its compounds, it is a good emulsion stabilizer and can bind high amounts of water by forming stable emulsions. To prevent intercellular water evaporation, Natura-Tec Plantsoft™’s lipids form a semi-occlusive film on the skin and create a protective barrier. Natura-Tec Plantsoft™ LUX L will help to control the viscosity of formulations. In make-up application such as lipstick and mascara, it can function as a crystal inhibitor and substantivity enhancer. It is safe for use in all type of cosmetic formulations, no negative reaction was observed following occlusive application (patch test).
