BGT™ Pepti-BHA is a next-generation exfoliating active that uses BioFusion Technology to chemically bond salicylic acid with yeast amino acids, creating a BHA-polypeptide molecule designed for faster skin renewal with improved tolerability. This peptide-bonded BHA helps address the common limitations of traditional salicylic acid exfoliation, including irritation potential and concentration-dependent performance, while supporting smoother texture, clearer-looking skin, and more efficient exfoliation in cosmetic formulations. In supplier testing, 0.2% Pepti-BHA delivered effective exfoliation within 5 minutes and showed 71.3% higher efficacy than 2% BHA at 15 minutes, with 0.2% identified as the optimal concentration.
