TELIKA AH is a water-dispersible titanium dioxide designed to boost broad-spectrum UV performance when used alongside organic and inorganic filters—especially as a water-phase “spectrum booster” in W/O sunscreen designs. Its surface treatment and dispersion profile help formulators improve UV performance while maintaining high transparency and a balanced skin feel, supporting “boosted protection without a whitening penalty.” In vitro, adding 3% TELIKA AH to a reference sun cream system increased SPF versus the comparator filter system while keeping visual transparency high, making it a practical lever for optimizing protection-to-aesthetics and fine-tuning filter systems across W/O and O/W formats.
