Colloidal Avicel forms a 3 Dimension Network that is capable of stabilizing low to medium viscosity emulsions.
It's network prevents the formation of large ice crystals which can break an emulsion in stability testing. Recommended
use level 0.7-1.5%. Highly thixotropic, excellent for suspending particulates, nice skin feel and easy to formulate.
Avicel is quickly becoming the personal care industries answer to sprayable emulsions. The network of Avicel is
thixotropic which breaks with the slightest sheer, however even with a high particulate loading the Avicel keeps the solids
from settling out. Avicel in formulation has the same viscosity from 0 degrees C to 100 degrees C, perfect for sunscreens,
foundations, sunless products.
